Parker offered to produce and record the album in his recording studio in Perth, Australia and Prochet gladly accepted, recording the album in 2011 in Perth and at her grandmother’s home in the south of France.
Prochet and Parker struck up a friendship together just as Prochet was making plans to record a solo album. Melody Prochet first came to prominence fronting the band My Bee’s Garden, a band who supported Kevin Parker’s band Tame Impala all over Europe in 2010.
